Tonchant®--Keep up with the times of environmental protection concept of innovative packaging design

China sustainable packaging company Tonchant® has extended its collaboration with VAHDAM TEA®, an independent tea company based in the India.

The companies started their collaboration, which involved Tonchant® developing compostable packaging for VAHDAM TEA® single-serve tea bags, last year.

Tonchant® has now created packaging for the company’s larger loose tea pouch and pyramid teabag collections.

VAHDAM TEA® operation director Jason said: “We were highly impressed with the innovative way Tonchant® approached our previous packaging challenge.

“The collaborative approach ensured the packaging was perfect for our products, and it was extremely well-received by our customers.

“Following the success of the initial project, we wanted to introduce compostable packaging to our entire range of products.

“Tonchant® has created a bespoke range of solutions that keeps our products fresher for longer and delivers stand-out, high-definition graphics.”

The new compostable packaging for VAHDAM TEA® has been designed to deliver high performance while contributing to efforts to safeguard natural resources.

Tonchant® found that the packaging decomposed completely within 26 weeks and the materials returned to the soil without any harmful environmental impacts.

Tonchant® new business development manager Amanda said: “It was a privilege to be asked by Jason to work with the company once again.

“We were all thrilled with the success of the single-serve tea bag project and expanding the packaging across the wider range is a terrific endorsement of both our approach to design and creation and the high standard of packaging we produce.”

Last Month, Tonchant® designed compostable packaging for health food wholesaler Websturant Store, featuring enhanced oxygen barrier technology designed to extend products’ shelf lives.

The pack will replace the non-recyclable plastic packaging currently used for Webstaurant Store healthy food range, which includes pulses, beans, cereals and dried fruits.
